Established in 1968, Blakedown Sport & Play is an award-winning landscape and civil engineering company specializing in the construction of a range of sport and play facilities. As a market leader within the industry, they are proud to list several top-class installations in their portfolio including prestigious landscaping projects in the grounds of the Natural History Museum, the training track at the Manchester Commonwealth Games, the Queen Elizabeth II Stadium in Enfield where Lord Sebastian Coe trained for the 1984 Olympics, and the full-sized 3rd Generation rugby pitch at Lancaster & Morecambe College, constructed in accordance with IRB specifications.

Blakedown Sport & Play are also the key construction partner of Goals Soccer Centres, constructing multiple 5-a-side, 3rd Generation football facilities throughout the UK, including Star City in Birmingham, on the roof of a multi storey car park.
