Astroturf Herbicide and Vegetation Control
Sand-filled synthetic surfaces are susceptible to a build-up of moss and algae which can present slip hazards to players and spectators on the playing surface, access points and run-offs. The contamination can often be too well embedded to be removed by a drag brush, or even a Power-brush, procedure. In this instance, a full herbicide treatment would be needed to eliminate the living matter so that it can be fully removed with a follow up procedure.
Does your astroturf pitch need a herbicide treatment?
A build-up of moss, algae, or decaying leaf vegetation on your sand-filled pitch should be controlled with a course of herbicide treatments and the appropriate follow up maintenance procedure. To discuss our current prices for a treatment, please contact our team.
